Nonprofit Finance for Non-Finance People

Tuesday Oct. 30, 2018
9 a.m.-noon
Pre-registration at 8:30 a.m.

It can be confusing to be thrown into the world of nonprofit finance, budgets, and reports when one has not been trained in business subjects.

In this workshop, you will be introduced to the following as they apply to a nonprofit organization:

  • What it means to be a nonprofit
  • Basic accounting terms
  • Reading financial statements
  • Nonprofit specific accounting rules
  • Budget preparation
  • Internal control structure
  • Policies and procedures

Early Bird Nonprofit Rate (through Oct. 16, 2018): $25
Nonprofit Rate (after Oct. 16, 2018): $35
Market Rate (applies to for-profit agencies): $200 per person

This workshop has a LATE CANCELLATION FEE of $150. This means if you register, and do not attend or send a substitute, your organization will be billed $150. The deadline to cancel without penalty is Oct. 23, 2018.
