About the Dr. Hershel Swinger Partnership Conference:
This one-day conference brings together over 800 judges, lawyers, child welfare workers and various stakeholders associated with the dependency and delinquency court systems to:

  • Learn about and discuss latest practices and research in juvenile justice and child welfare 
  • Network and discuss critical issues with current colleagues and new ones

Conference registration includes:

  • Welcome remarks from Cal State LA's President William Covino and the Honorable Michael Levanas, Presiding Judge of the Juvenile Court.
  • Keynote address from John Ott, Co-Founder of the Center for Collective Wisdom.
  • 39 diverse and engaging workshops led by experts and practitioners from the child welfare and dependency court fields. 
  • Poster session with research from around the greater Los Angeles area

General: $75
Student: $35 

**Student registration fees are for individuals actively enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program of study at a college or university. Students who select this option must provide proof of their status at the time they check-in at the conference. There is a limited number of student registrations.
