Nanaimo Sponsorship Workshop with Brent Barootes

The first part of this afternoon workshop on sponsorship will take a quick review of 2017 and look to 2018 and focus on what each organization in attendance can expect in regard to sponsorship. The session will look at trends locally, regionally and nationally as well as focus on a few case studies and examples. You will go away with a better understanding of how to approach sponsorship in 2018 and beyond.

The second part of this workshop will assist all those who have to deal with negotiation. Whether it is to pitch and close a sponsorship agreement or brining in that next major gift; buying an new house or selling your car or convincing your spouse you should be going to Europe versus Vegas on that next holiday trip.

We all need to know how to negotiate. Brent Barootes, a negotiator since a child and often viewed as “the person who could sell ice cubes to Inuit”, will illustrate through examples and tips on how to become a better negotiator. You will go away with fresh ideas and tangible tools to help you win your next deal negotiation. Make sure your charity, non-profit or event has the negotiating tools to reap the rewards that await you.
