2018 Annual Leadership Weekend 

Welcome to the Scholars Leadership Summit.
Thank you for your participation as we prepare for an exciting Leadership Summit celebrating 17 years of Promise Prize Scholars!

July 20 through July 22, 2018

YOUR REGISTRATION INCLUDES

  • A two night stay at the Doral Arrowwood in Rye Brook, New York. The Doral is located in Westchester County just outside NYC in a great setting for outdoor activity and great conversation. It offers various amenities including a pool, tennis, a nine hole golf course, a full gym, beautiful nature trails, and is within short distance of many area attractions.
  • Arrive Friday afternoon, check into your individual room, and catch up with other Scholars.
  • 2018 Scholars participate in orientation starting at 3pm on Friday.
  • Friday evening networking bar-b-que dinner, celebrating YOU!  Special guest speaker, Dennis Bone, Director, Feliciano Center for Entrepreneurship, Montclair State University and retired President and CEO Verizon New Jersey.
  • Dinner on Friday is followed by a Scholar Meeting and Community Service Activity
  • Saturday morning starts with a hearty breakfast and an all day Scholar leadership development intensive facilitated by Jay Morris and featuring a number of guest speakers.
  • Our NYC tour and Dinner on Saturday evening is not to be missed.
  • We will conclude on Sunday with breakfast and departures. 
  • Check-out time is 11am Sunday.
  • All meals and local transportation to the activities is included.

Accommodations & Transportation: All Promise Prize Scholars are required to stay at the Doral Arrowwood, as it is a part of the Scholar Leadership experience. The registration fee includes the cost of staying overnight July 20 & 21, 2018,and all meals and local transportation to and from activities.  

We will reserve your room once you have completed registration and paid your registration fee.

Scholars must provide their own transportation to and from the Doral.  Transportation is not included in the registration fee.  As we get closer to the event, we will contact you to collect your travel information.  Based upon response, we may coordinate a group pick up/drop off at LaGuardia Airport, NYC.

Participation:  All participants will receive a Leadership Development Certificate, and attendance at all events is required.

Please Register NOW - this helps our planning process. To reserve your place at the 2018 Scholar Experience Summit, pay in full or make your initial payment.  Contact the office if you need to make installment payments.

Last date to register and pay in full is April 30, 2018.

Accommodations: All Promise Prize  and Summit Scholars are required to stay at the Doral Arrowwood; it is a part of theScholar Retreat. All fees paid will include the cost of staying overnight July 29-30, 2016, all meals and transportation to and from activities. We will reserve your room once you have completed registration.

Participation:  To reserve your place at the Annual Tribute and/or Summit, make your initial payment or pay in full.  This is required  whether you attend one or both of the Annual Weekend events. 

Last date to register and pay in full June 1, 2016. Latest date to cancel without penalty, June 15, 2016.
