Technology Interest Group (2/14/18)

The Technology Interest Group is for the discussion of technology in libraries, whether the technology is employed for patron services or library staff. We'll discuss emerging trends, share information on the implementation of various technologies in libraries, and share information with each other on our respective successes and failures with regards to how our respective institutions have handled the integration of new technologies.

The first meeting of 2018 will take place online at the on Wednesday, February 14th, from 10:00 am - 11:00 am.  We look forward to seeing you there!

Your Facilitator Is:  Joe Baca, University of Florida

I am a Library Associate at the Marston Science Library at the University of Florida. I manage the 3D printing space at Marston and coordinate and help instruct library patrons in the use of the 3D scanner in the library. I also serve as the Science Library webmaster and manage the Marston social media accounts. I have a broad interest in how library services are shaped by new technologies.

Cost: NEFLIN Interest Groups are free of charge and are open to NEFLIN members only.  Registration is strongly encouraged.

A reminder and access information will be sent out one week before the meeting and one day before the meeting.  Please email register@neflin.org if you do not receive your access information.
