 Alphapointe Adventure Camp

Alphapointe Adventure Camp is NEW & IMPROVED. Camp is now overnight for youth ages 11-18.  All the same fun but we are together 24 hours a day, we promise to sleep some. We anticipate having kids from outside the KC area and are excited to welcome everyone.

Registration is open, sign up now, spots will fill fast. We are so thrilled to have your child at camp, all week long!

Adventure Camp (Residency Camp), a week-long over night camp for children ages 11-18 introduces kids to a variety of traditional outdoor camp experiences, but specifically focuses on particular needs & considerations for youth with vision impairment. Youth from ages 14 and older can be enrolled into a complementary C.I.T. Program (Counselors in Training). Campers are taught outdoor and recreational skills to complement their knowledge of the natural world. Kids will experience cookouts, creative arts, archery, hiking, swimming, a ropes course, horseback riding, zip lining, and Beep Baseball training. Campers will have the opportunity to practice functional, social, mobility, and independent living skills while forming friendships and having fun!  Youth learn fundamental skills that help them learn, play and grow in a camp atmosphere.  Camp helps kids learn independence and social skills to develop into successful adults.
