Economic abuse is a tactic that many abusers use to maintain power and control over their partners. Victims of abuse are often left with little income, poor credit, and a feeling of dependence on their abusers for basic living needs. We invite advocates and staff from community-based organizations to this “train-the-trainer” session on The Allstate Foundation’s Moving Ahead Through Financial Management curriculum. This session will provide attendees with an overview of financial literacy, instructions on how to use this tool, and free copies of the curriculum.
