23rd Annual Water for Life Reception

The Water for Life Reception supports Water For People's mission to alleviate community development challenges through creative water and sanitation investments. Water For People commits to developing and monitoring programs in these communities to keep water flowing for every family, school, and clinic with the ultimate goal that the communities, governments, and the local private sector will not need Water For People -- or any other nonprofit -- for their water and sanitation challenges in the future.

Millions of people still don't have access to safe water and sanitation resources. Together, we can Change That.

Please join us April 21, 2018 at the Brightwater Center at the King County Brightwater Treatment Facilty. The evening will feature delicious food, live music, silent auction and hosted wine and beer to help make the dream of safe water and sanitation a reality around the world.

We are excited to welcome this year's keynote speaker, Evan Thomas, a founding volunteer with Engineers Without Borders-USA in 2002. Evan is an Associate Professor and Director of the SWEET (Sustainable Water, Energy and Environmental Technologies) Laboratory at Portland State University and is currently the COO of DelAgua Health, a social enterprise working with the Government of Rwanda Ministry of Health to implement a water treatment and improved cookstove program. Evan holds a Ph.D. in Aeropsace Engineering, previously worked for NASA and recently applied to an astronaut opening witht he Canadian Space Agency.

Dress code is cocktail.
