This tour takes place rain or shine!
Come on this tour to get inspiration and ideas to go green at home! The 16th annual tour will include a mixture of new green homes, green renovations, and watershed-friendly gardens. See homes and gardens featuring energy efficient technologies, solar power, water saving technologies, native plants, rain gardens, and rain barrels, wildlife habitat, and more!
Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardener volunteers will be on hand at the in-person registration site (in front of Walter Reed Community Center, 2909 16th St. S.) to share information on sustainable landscape management practices and answer questions about native plants, storm water management, and soil nutrient management.
Tickets are $5 per person. All proceeds benefit local conservation activities.
