Volunteer Assessment: Are you ready?! 

Nonprofits today are constantly expected to provide more expansive and higher-quality services with fewer resources, and a key part of getting the work done is the successful management and retention of volunteers. During this training, you will complete a ‘Volunteer Program Assessment’ tool for your organization, followed by a discussion about where to invest your energy to develop a better volunteer program.

We will cover topics such as volunteer recruitment strategies, orientations, waivers/liability, and external resources available to you as someone working with volunteers. Note that this training is designed for organizations with volunteer programs in development/staff new to volunteer management, though everyone is welcome to participate.

Workshop is free!

The Beaverton Volunteer Fair is a chance for the community to get involved! Over 40 local non-profit groups and community organizations will be in attendance providing information on their volunteer opportunities. Applications are now open for non-profit and community organizations to participate, Apply Now!

Applications close Friday, February 9, 2018 at 5 pm. Groups will be notified of selection by Monday, February 12, 2018. Event date: Saturday, March 17, 2018.
