Frenemies: Millennials and the Future of Parking Planning

Friday, February 23rd at 12:00 PM PST

Join SWPTA and our webinar presenter, Mallory Baker, to learn more about what parking and transportation practices are most effective in the age of sharing.

Cars are over (or so says the media). Millennials are sharers—intrinsically averse to single-occupancy vehicles and all they stand for. Or are they? This webinar will present data on the actual transportation behaviors of millennial as compared to older populations, and explore best practices for parking and transportation infrastructure providers in accommodating this unique demographic.

Speaker: Mallory Baker, Consultant, Walker Consultants

Mallory has spent her career in urban planning marrying the unique, complex viewpoints of different stakeholders to find implementable solutions. As a consultant with Walker, she focuses her work on developing holistic mobility solutions for public, private, and institutional clients navigating the breakneck changes of the transportation industry. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute Building Healthy Places Committee, and holds a master’s degree in urban planning from the City University of New York.
