This workshop covers climbing fundamentals, planning and executing climbing operations, basic climbing systems/techniques, and introduction to rigging for removal.  Important topics covered incude preventing falls and electrocution, climber safety, and knot school.

Attendees have the option to earn TCIA's Tree Climber Specialist credential by passing the exam in the TCIA Tree Climber Specialist manual (included with registration). The Specialist credential includes a certificate of completion, laminated wallet card, arm patch, and decal.
