This workshop covers essential safety topics, including getting to the work site, planning and preparation, and working safely and efficiently.  It provides basic information about chain saws and chipper safety, struck-by prevention, safe tree felling, and how to assist climbers

Attendees have the option to earn TCIA's Ground Operations Specialist credential by passing the exam in the TCIA Ground Operations Specialist manual (included with registration). The Specialist credential includes a certificate of completion, laminated wallet card, arm patch, and decal.
