Truly Blended:  Online Learning Meets Classroom Practices Course

Participants will explore ways to facilitate learning in classrooms that embrace technology. Technology and instruction seem to be evolving at a different rate and may not be in sync in our learning environments. Whether you are a “brick and mortar” teacher who would like to blend your instruction or a virtual educator, explore online learning and see how your classrooms of today can become anytime, anywhere environments. View learning through the eyes of individualized learning and facilitation using an abundance of online resources.

Participants will:

  • Connect online learning to personal instructional delivery style and develop a vision for online learning.
  • Define elements of online instruction, engagement, conferencing and feedback.
  • Explore Learning Management Systems and online resources for high impact learning.
  • Build online learning communities.
  • Examine law, privacy, ethics, rights and policies related to online learning.
  • Write an action plan and develop a schedule for your course.
