Clays for Kids

benefitting the Denver Children's Advocacy Center 

Clays for Kids, a sporting clays tournament, will be hosted at the beautiful Colorado Clays Shooting Park. In honor of National Child Abuse Prevention Month, this event is designed to bring sporting enthusiasts together to spread awareness about our mission to serve Denver’s child victims of abuse, neglect, and violence. It will include a 15-station clay shooting tournament and a fully catered lunch generously provided by Halliburton and their legendary BBQ truck.

Tournament Schedule:

8:30 a.m. - Registration Opens

8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. - Warm Up Hour

9:30 a.m. - Event Welcome and Safety Discussion

10:00 a.m. - Tournament Begins

12:00 p.m. - Lunch

12:30 p.m. - Awards are Presented

Ammo Restrictions: Trap Load Required. 7 1/2 or 8 shot required. No hunting loads or steal shot. Lead only. Ammo is available for purchase at Colorado Clays Shooting Park.

Requirements: Ear and eye protection is required during the tournament. Ear protection can be purchased at Colorado Clays Shooting Park.

Gun Rentals: If you are planning to rent a gun for the tournament, please contact Meghan Parman, Development Associate, at 720-974-7231 or MParman@DenverCAC.org. There is a limited number of rentals available and they will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis.

Team Registration:

 If you are registering of a team of four individuals, please click the team registration button below. Teams consist of four individuals. Each team entry fee is $500. Please note all team members names and email addresses on registration form. 

Individual Registration:

If you are registering as an individual, please click the individual registration button below. Individuals that register will be placed on a team of four at the event. Each individual entry fee is $125. If you are registering as an individual and would like to paired with another individual, please note that person's name on the registration form.

Spectator Registration:

If you are registering as a spectator, please click the spectator registration button below. Individuals that register will be able to observe the sporting clays tournament but not participate. Each spectator entry fee is $25 and will include lunch. Ear and eye protection is required while observing the tournament.
