Join us for the morning to hear from Brooke Marshall, LSW, MATS, Oaklawn therapist and jail coordinator to learn more about Narcan, how it works and how to administer the medication to others.
This mental health breakfast will be a little longer than usual as attendees will be able to practice administering Narcan and attendees will be provided with Narcan kit to be used in your own setting.
Narcan is credited for saving thousands of lives during our current opiate crisis.
What is Narcan
Narcan, also known as Naloxone, is medication used to block the effects of opioids, specifically in an overdose.

9 – 10 a.m.: Training on how to use a Narcan kit and real-life practice (on an orange)
