La Capitale Chapter of ABWA May Meeting for 2018

Topic: Enhancing Leadership Skills and Servant Leadership

How good are your leadership skills? Who do you influence? Do you focus on the growth and well-being of others, first? Are you a servant first? These four questions will be discussed as we focus on leadership and place emphasis on servant leadership. 

Audience members will take a leadership assessment to better understand their strengths, while also identifying resources to help to improve their weaknesses. Eight principles of servant leadership will be included.  The presentation will be interactive with time allowed for sharing experiences and member feedback.   Join us to improve your leadership abilities and expand your influence!

Dr. Cathy Denison-Robert is Assistant Professor of Business Administration at Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University (formerly Our Lady of the Lake College).  In addition to teaching in undergraduate and graduate programs, she has been a prominent faculty team member developing the new Bachelor of Business Administration Program (BBA) that is launching in Fall 2018.  Dr. Denison-Robert, a graduate of LSU and McNeese, has personally worked with consulting programs, grants, training initiatives, educational endeavors, and business efforts for over 20 years.  

 

ABWA LaCapitale is a wonderful group of women who want to grow professionally and support the education of young people in the capital region.

 Please note: The meeting starts promptly at 11:15

Meeting Fee: :  Lunch and meeting fees are $25 for members and $30 for visitors.  Door pricing is $30 for anyone who does not RSVP. We accept checks, cash, VISA and MasterCard at the door. Please RSVP by noon Monday prior to the meeting. If you have RSVP'd and cannot attend, please let us know by the Monday before the meeting at 5 PM via email or you will be billed $30.00 for the lunch.  Payments made in advance will not be refunded on your credit card in case you can't attend and notify us in advance; arrangements can be made through the treasurer for credit toward next meeting or refund by check.

If you do not pre-register, you may be served a different meal from our luncheon selection.
