From Broken to Whole: A Communal Pesah Seder

Pesah is the season of renewal, of healing.

The cycle of the seder begins with breaking the middle matzah, the afikoman. Why do we break it? To remind us that what is broken may be made whole again. In the telling (“haggadah”) of the tale of the Exodus, we learn that by emerging from the narrow place of Mitzrayim (usually read as Egypt), our nation was formed, our spirit renewed, and the wounds of slavery began to heal.

 What is your Mitzrayim?

We will gather as a community on the second night of Pesah to seek wholeness, to find strength in this ancient story that continues to bring us healing today. Come join us.
