At This Seminar You Will Learn:

  • Shaker Basics - shaker, amplifier, force, impedance, and excitation signals example measurements (random, burst random, pseudo-random, chirp, digital stepped sine).
  • Performing a Basic Experimental Modal Test - overview of the process/making measurements
  • Modal Primer - a brief overview of the process
  • Hammer Basics - tips, force/exponential window, coherence, double impact, over/underload/saturation, multiple impacts, and roving/stationary hammers example measurements
  • MIMO - FRF and Multiple Coherence - shaker independence/PCA, shaker anomalies, and number of shakers example measurements
  • Measurement Inconsistencies from Poor Testing: Implications for Modal Test
  • Impact Testing: Additional items for consideration
  • Frequency Range: Multi-bands, skewed inputs, ICP low frequency
  • Shaker Testing: Additional items for consideration, stinger types, stinger effects, impedance heads, general shaker set up, SISO/MIMO, mass loading, and effect on modal analysis (stability, modes extracted)

The cost of the training is $299. This fee covers course instruction, training materials, and meals.
