Caroline Brost, RN BN, & Brittany Davidson, RD

Engage in an Interactive Roundtable discussion of Adults, Children and Parents living with PKU moderated by Caroline and Brittany of the Saskatchewan Metabolic Clinic.  

France Comeau

A PKU mom will discuss competitive sports and PKU. Her son, Xavier, is a 12-year-old Classic PKU swimmer who is one of New Brunswick’s best swimmers in his age group.

Brian Goetz, MD 

A PKU adult and recent Medical School Graduate who will discuss his life with PKU and his experiences with the investigational drug Palyinziq (formerly known as Pegvaliase and Peg-PAL) during his clinical trial.

Attendees will be separated into the following groups to further discuss issues relevant to them.

As usual we will provide on-site childcare for no additional charge for registered children 12 and under (please indicate in Guest Information when registering); have several metabolic vendors present with samples; and we will provide PKU-friendly snacks + lunch prepared by Chef Jody Taylor and PKU-Friendly Cookies prepared by budding young chef, Callia Fehr.
