Official Registration

2018 NRA World Shooting Championship

Presented by Kimber

SEPT 20-22, 2018

This is the official link for registration to the 2018 NRA World Shooting Championship presented by Kimber. This year we are bringing back the original format of two divisions - Professional and Amateur. The 2017 Match was FULL, so please register TODAY for your spot in the greatest shooting sports challenge of the year! Once spots are gone, you will not be able to register for the match!

 REGISTRATION

On-line registration is a two-part process. First, complete this registration page and pay the entry fee. Second, beginning June 1, 2018 NRA staff will email completed registrants a practiscore registration link which will enable self-squadding and enter you into our scoring system. You must complete the practiscore registration link in order to shoot the match!

NOTICE!  Pro Shooters who will receive a registration slot due to your sponsors support of the NRA WSC please email Aaron Farmer Match Director at afarmer@nrahq.org for a separate registration link! You will not receive your match slot until your sponsor's agreement is signed with NRA!

 MATCH ENTRY

Competitors must enter the correct division in which they belong. Disqualification with forfeiture of the entry fee will occur in the event a competitor enters the tournament in an improper division. Competitors may change divisions after their initial registration but must make such change before they fire their first shot in the tournament. Division changes must be done in the Statistical Office and approved by the Match Director, and cannot be made on the range at the individual events. There will be no delays to the firing of the first stage to allow a competitor to return to the Stat Office to make changes. All competitors will be required to sign the Peacemaker National Training Center, LLC waiver and the National Rifle Association Liability Waiver prior to accessing the facility for the match.

Professional $375

A Professional is any individual who receives financial support over $2,000 per year in products, cash or services in support of competitive shooting participation. A professional is also any competitor who has placed in the "top 5" of the Amateur Category in any previous NRA World Shooting Championship (2014 - 2017) Entry includes use of firearms, ammunition, and 1 ticket to the awards banquet.

Amateur $325

An Amateur is anyone who does not meet the definition of the "Professional" (above). Entry includes use of firearms, ammunition, and one ticket to the awards banquet.

Junior Amateur $325

An Amateur Junior is aged 12 to 17 at the start of the match. Entry includes use of firearms, ammunition, and one ticket to the awards banquet.

 Match Staff $0

Match staff is anyone who NRA approves as match staff and works the match from September 20 – 22, 2018. Entry includes use of firearms and ammunition.

COURSE OF FIRE

All competitors will shoot 12 courses of fire and several side matches, over 3 days with the awards banquet following the match on Saturday September 16 at 8 PM. Each stage will provide all firearms, optics, and ammunition as required. Competitors may not compete in stages of the match at their discretion. Electing to not fire a stage will decrease the overall match score but does not prohibit a competitor from participating.

The current NRA World Shooting Champion is Greg Jordan who holds the title of World's Greatest Shooter! Past year's champions: 2017 Greg Jordan, 2016 Doug Koenig, 2015 Bruce Piatt, and 2014 Daniel Horner.
