Speaker - Melissa Black - Vice President and Business Banker, PNC Bank
Melissa will discuss what she is seeing in her industry, and what you can do to protect yourself and your business. Learn the differences between business and personal accounts, and how you are protected. EMV chip card technology - what does it mean for you as a consumer and a business owner? This will be an overview, and you will walk away with some tips on what you can do to be more proactive on protecting yourself and your clients. You will also have a better understanding of what the bad guys are doing.
About our speaker
Melissa began her banking career in 1997 as a part time teller as a co-op job in high school and worked her way up, holding multiple positions including Senior Teller, Teller Supervisor, Branch Trainer, Personal Banker, Licensed Personal Banker, Branch Manager, and now Business Banker. Banking is all she has ever known. She is very passionate about having a conversation with business owners to learn how they got started and why they do what they do. How can she make your banking easier? She likes working with small business owners who know their business and know their employees.
She lives in Waukesha with her husband, 2 of their 4 children and 3 dogs. Their children are now almost 22 and 20 (out of the house), 12 and 8. When she is not working, she enjoys riding on the bank of their Harley, spending time camping with her family, and watching the kids in their sports. Enjoying every moment because it goes by so fast!
