CAAHEP Accreditation Workshop
for Paramedic Programs

WORKSHOP REQUIREMENTS

There is no required advance homework in preparation for the workshop; however, the attendee is encouraged to:

  1. Download the Self Study Report that is appropriate to their program.
  2. Familiarize yourself with the CoAEMSP website. CoAEMSP has a plethora of resources, many of which will aid you through the accreditation process and beyond.
  3. Review the articles and tools.
Please bring your laptop.

Space is limited:  We have a maximum capacity of 50 attendees, so please reserve your spot early!  Registration will automatically close when all seats are filled or on April 19, 2018, whichever comes first.

WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION & OBJECTIVES

This workshop is designed to educate attendees on the CAAHEP accreditation process, including the self study, site visit, and maintaing accreditation.

 The following will be addressed:

  • Overview of the accreditation process
  • Resources
  • CAAHEP Standards and Guidelines (2015)
  • CoAEMSP Interpretations of the 2015 CAAHEP Standards
  • Site Visits
  • Site Visit Findings Letters & Progress Reports
  • Annual Reports
  • Deal Breakers & Other Stumbling Blocks

REGISTRATION FEE

The registration fee includes breakfast, lunch and breaks each day.

Registration will close on April 19, 2018 at 5:00 pm CENTRAL Time or when all seats have been reserved, whichever comes first. Registrations received and paid before March 15, 2018 by 5:00 pm CENTRAL time are eligible for the Early Bird rate of $350.  Please note: to take advantage of the Early Bird rate, payment must be received (not post-marked) by this date. From March 16 through April 19, the regular registration fee is $395. 

Payment is requested by credit card (or PayPal account) via PayPal at the time of registration. You do NOT have to have a PayPal account if you wish to pay by credit card.

Any payment made by check must be RECEIVED (not postmarked) on or before April 6, 2018; after April 6 all payments must be made via PayPal.  Please mail your check to the CoAEMSP Executive Office (8301 Lakeview Parkway Suite 111-312, Rowlett, TX 75088) for manual processing.  If you require a Purchase Order first, contact Ruth Crump at 214.703.8445, ext. 116, as soon as possible after registration so she can send the required information.

Registrations cancelled within 7-30 days of the workshop start date are subject to a $50 cancellation fee; alternatively you can elect to have your funds held for a future workshop within one year and the $50 cancellation fee will be waived.  Any cancellations made within 7 days of the workshop will not be refunded, and cannot be applied to a future workshop.  Any registrations which remain unpaid by 5:00 pm CENTRAL time on April 6, 2018 will be automatically cancelled to allow waitlisted attendees to register.
