Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press, or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances. Tom Hayden, As senior engagement editor at The News-Press for the past seven years, Tom Hayden is responsible for delivering the voice of the paper and in the company’s digital products through editorials. He also coordinates the paper’s editorial board and organizes engagement events.  Prior to being named engagement editor, Hayden was Cape Coral editor for The News-Press for 11 years and before that, sports editor for four years.  He arrived in Fort Myers after serving four years as assistant sports editor and sports editor of Gannett’s North Hills News Record from 1992-1996. Prior to North Hills, he was a sports reporter and sports editor at the Marion, Indiana, Chronicle-Tribune for 11 years.Born in Lafayette, Indiana, he is a graduate of Ball State University. Hayden was recently married in November to Joanne. He has two daughters, Mary, a civil engineer in Boynton Beach, and Ann, who is a college student and pursuing business interests. He has a nine-month-old granddaughter, Caroline.

(Bill) Barker is the West Florida Regional President of Gannett Company, as well as publisher and president of the Naples Daily News and The News-Press, community publications, and related digital products. He also oversees the newspaper operations in Tallahassee and Pensacola.  Barker last served as vice president, regional publisher of the Journal Media Group overseeing operations at its newspapers in Naples and Florida’s Treasure Coast, as well as in Knoxville, Tennessee; Anderson, South Carolina; and Evansville, Indiana. Barker joined the Daily News in fall 2013 as regional publisher and chief revenue officer after nearly a decade overseeing newspaper and media operations in the Tampa Bay area, including serving as president and publisher of The Tampa Tribune, St. Petersburg Tribune and TBO.com. 

Kellie Burns NBC2 News Anchor anchors NBC2 News at 5:00, News at 5:30 and News at 6. She started at NBC2 in 1994 as a reporter, working her way up to Collier County Bureau Chief, weekend anchor and finally primary anchor in 1996.Kellie's award-winning career includes two Regional Edward R. Murrow Awards and several awards from the Florida Associated Press. In 2011, she took first place in the Hard News Feature category for her coverage in Haiti after the 2010 earthquake.

    Julie GlennWGCU Public Media Host of the Gulf Coast Live Julie Glenn is the host of Gulf Coast Live. She has been working in southwest Florida as a freelance writer since 2007, most recently as a regular columnist for the Naples Daily News. She began her broadcasting career in 1993 as a reporter/anchor/producer for a local CBS affiliate in Quincy, Illinois. After also working for the NBC affiliate, she decided to move to Parma, Italy where she earned her Master’s degree in communication from the University of Gastronomic Sciences. Her undergraduate degree in Mass Communication is from the University of Missouri at Kansas City.

 Henry Lee Paul, P.A. Former Supreme Court Commission of Professionalism Henry Lee Paul practiced as Bar Counsel for The Florida Bar from 2006 until 2012. He tried numerous cases and presented three oral arguments before the Florida Supreme Court. Prior to serving as Bar Counsel, Paul was in private practice and was a founder and general counsel of the Tampa Bay Lightning. Paul now primarily defends lawyers in disciplinary matters.
