In this hands on class, classically trained Pastry Chef Barbara Sarno, owner of Sweet Possibilities, will teach us to make an easy and versatile short dough to create and bake a number of show stopper gourmet desserts! We’ll learn the the nuances of different types of short dough and when to use them - Pate Sucree, Pate Sable, Pate Brisee & Pate Foncer. We’ll also learn why using different equipment yields different results and how to make and add decorative touches to desserts, tarts, holiday cookies, and how to use these doughs as an easy garnish for almost any dessert.
