About the Presentation and Speaker

Strategies to Recruit, Retain and Engage Employees

Be proactive and create a culture and environment that attracts and retains the best employees. Whether you have a staff of 4 or 400, you’ll leave with great insights on creating a winning culture from Maxine Hart, Chief Human Resources Officer of Reading Cooperative Bank
Recruiting and retaining employees is a major challenge facing companies and organizations today in this employment market. Organizations can no longer leave the recruitment or the retention to good will and chance as employees have more options now than they have had in previous years.

Maxine Hart will share lessons on how to improve employee engagement and how to refocus recruitment efforts to both attract and retain top performing employees.

Maxine Hart CHRO for the bank, has been in the HR field for over 20 years. Since coming to the United States from her native South Africa, she has held roles in human resources in not for profits, health care and now banking. While in South Africa, she worked as a community social worker and as an organizational development specialist. (Anecdotally, Maxine was responsible for recruiting over 200,000 election workers for the first democratic election in South Africa in 1994).

This will be an interactive session where Maxine will share experiences and lessons learned.
