Knitting in the Round on Circular Needles--February 27 5:30-7pm 

Have you had enough of knitting flat pieces? Then it is time to learn how to knit in the round! Join us for this installment of The Basics Series and learn how to knit a cowl in the round using circular needles.

Knitting in the round opens up so many options. You can knit hats, cowls, sweaters, socks, mittens and more! This is a truly invaluable technique that you will use project after project. 

This is the second installment in The Basics Series,  a series of technique classes that are put together so you can jump in and out of them as your schedule allows. The next installment will be knitting in the round using double pointed needles!

Materials: US 8 16" circular needles, 200 yards of worsted weight yarn (suggested but not limited to, Encore worsted, Deluxe Superwash Worsted, Ultra Alpaca Worsted, Shelter, Laramie), stitch markers

Prerequisite Skills: Basic Cast On, Knit Stitch, Purl Stitch, Basic Cast Off
