CAPITOL WEEKLY presents: CALIFORNIA CANNIBIS, May 24, 2018 in Sacramento

Join two dozen elected officials, industry experts, regulators and journalists on Thursday, May 24 for a day-long discussion about California’s Cannabis industry. We’ll look at  the intersection of state, local and federal law, the regulatory framework, environmental impacts, banking and distribution concerns,and the evolution of the state’s Marijuana industry.

Our Keynote speaker will be Lori Ajax, Chief of California's Bureau of Cannabis Control

Four panels throughout the day will examine: the California cannabis marketplace; costs & taxes; the state’s commercial cannabis regulations and guidelines; the multi-level clash of governments; the ambiguous role of law enforcement who face different rules for state, federal and local jurisdictions; banking, security, distribution; the future of the cannabis industry in California, and more.

Tickets purchased by April 23 qualify for the early registration rate of $149. Tickets purchased after April 23 will be available at the regular rate of $199.  Registration includes Lunch and all materials.

Special $99 rate for public employees. 

California Cannabis will be filmed for later broadcast by the California Channel.
