Product Photography - Hands On Experience with Devin Ford Photography 

A Hands-on experience to learn the basics of commercial product photography with Devin Ford at ARTHOUSE. This workshop will begin with an introduction on lighting & styling a product shoot and then continue with a hands on experience setting and capturing your own product shots with guidance from a pro.

You'll learn about:
The technical settings needed to ensure sharp and crisp images. Different lighting techniques and placements to create depth and dimension with your subject.

What you'll need:
A DSLR or interchangeable lens camera. Be generally familiar with setting exposure controls on your camera. A basic understanding of the exposure triangle (Shutter Speed, Aperture, and ISO). A charged battery and memory card, ready to shoot during the hands-on portion. And of course, a great attitude!

Devin Ford
Devin is a professional photographer who specializes in commercial advertising and loves working with businesses. She works with many local companies and is the photographer for Scout Guide Mobile Bay. Devin was an adjunct professor at the University of South Alabama and is a graduate of The Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, California. She spent a year in learning the business of professional photography from celebrity shutterbug John Russo. She worked in California for almost a decade before returning home in 2012.
