Have you ever wanted to make a large and incredibly playful painting with watercolor? Would you like to try Daniel Smith Watercolors out for FREEEE? Do you have large watercolor brushes and no idea what to do with them? This is YOUR workshop!
It's difficult to know which brushes make which strokes, to utilize them in the best way possible. It's also incredibly difficult to tackle color mixing, so we're going to work on those techniques while painting 2 gorgeous watercolor paintings. You will receive 1 sheet of Strathmore 140lbs paper in 16x20 and 1 sheet of 16x20 ARCHES watercolor paper. This means you will likely leave with two seriously gorgeous paintings you can proudly frame and put up at home. If you don't have room for paintings this size, no problem, I will show you how I trim large paper down, and you can frame your favorite pieces. Yet one more option, trim these down and bind into a beautiful journal using a simple book binding stitch!
This lesson is sponsored by Daniel Smith, which means you can try out assorted colors for FREE!
Included in class fee: 1 sheet 16"x20" of strathmore watercolor paper, 1 sheet 16"x20" of arches watercolor paper, fixative spray and Daniel Smith Watercolor Paints
