Preventing Workplace Harassment 

All employees deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. Workplaces must be free of harassment which disrupts and interferes with an employee’s work performance and creates an intimidating, offensive, and hostile work environment. Organizations must address issues of harassment head-on as it can be a very costly resulting in absenteeism, low morale, reduced productivity, turnover, and huge damage and litigation costs. Claims regarding workplace harassment have drastically increased during recent years.  

Harassment in today’s work environment is no longer just sexual harassment. Instead, it now refers to all forms of harassment including employee bullying and mobbing which have become common workplace phrases and play a key role in creating hostile work environments. The potential exists in every workplace. 

This training program is designed to help managers and employees understand what constitutes harassment and their role in recognizing, addressing, and preventing all forms of harassment in the workplace.
