2018 CRPS Young Adult Weekend: Taking Care of Us
RSDSA is excited to announce the 2nd CRPS Young Adult Weekend! After the success of the first event and the expressed need, we have decided to head down south! This Young Adult Weekend will be held at the Holiday Inn Nashville-Vanderbilt, 2613 West End Ave, Nashville, TN 37203. More information about the hotel can be found at http://bit.ly/2EKYWwe .Young people with CRPS from the ages of 18 – 29 will spend the weekend in Music City with people that understand what they are going through to the fullest extent.
This event will take place from Friday, June 15th through Monday, June 18th. We are asking participants to pay $250 for the weekend and RSDSA, with the help of donors and grants, will sponsor the additional costs of your stay. The fee includes the cost of the room as well as meals. Please note that participants will likely be sharing rooms with other young adults with CRPS.
The 1st Young Adult Weekend was a great success and the second weekend has been highly anticipated. We expect that young people with CRPS will be enthusiastic about this weekend and the chance to network, learn about living with CRPS, and find ways to advocate for themselves and become more independent. There will be workshops, but plenty of free time to explore Nashville as well. This weekend is a great educational opportunity. Our participants in the last Young Adult Weekend formed strong bonds with one another and stay in contact to this day.
We have limited space, so please let us know as soon as possible if you wish to attend. A $50 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your spot, but you may also pay in full to lock in your spot. A check or credit card is acceptable. Final payment of the additional $200 is due on May 1, 2018.
Note: If you need to fly in to this event, the airport is the Nashville International Airport (BNA). Don’t forget your cowboy hat.
