Rep Weave Workshop w/ Dorothy March 10 9am-4pm
Rep is a warp-faced block weave, traditionally used for rugs and mats. The bold color pattern is achieved through the use of two alternating colors in the warp, and alternating thick and thin wefts. The fabric weaves up quickly because of the thick weft, yet the product is thick and durable. Four and eight shaft methods will be explained in this class.
The practice project will be a piece suitable for a fun graphic table runner.
