Art Week: Cultural Heritage Through Image

  Saturday, May 5, 2018
9:00am – 3:00pm

Minute Man National Historical Park
174 Liberty Street, Concord, MA 01742

Join us for this event to experience a new way to think about culture and heritage, contribute your photography to a New England-wide community project, and spend the day in a beautiful national park!

What does local New England cultural heritage have to do with ancient and medieval heritage? The Cultural Heritage through Image project connects the heritage stories from other countries to the stories of local communities! Through photography, participants explore and learn about the culture around them as well as the exciting history of the ancient and medieval past. In a unique day of presentations, photo walks, and workshops at the Minute Man National Historical Park, participants will learn about cultural heritage, photograph the park's historical sites, and contribute to a digital and museum exhibition with your own ideas about heritage.

Space is limited to 15 participants. Registration is required by April 30.
Parking is free. Event is outdoors.
