Mindfulness...what comes to mind? 

Mindfulness has become more mainstrem with almost daily news about the research behind the mind and body benefits. It can still be confusing however...What really is mindfulness? Is it the same or different from meditation? What exactly do you "do" to practice mindfulness? How soon and which benefits can you expect? 

Join Alice Dommert of Prasada for this Wholebing Workshop to explore what mindfulness is and is not, what the research can tell us about the benefits and a few ways that you might begin a mindfulness practice in as few as five minutes a day. 

No special clothing or materials needed.

Alice began practicing yoga when an injury forced her to slow down. Yoga was not her first choice of activity, but after 20 years yoga has shared many valuable lessons. She became a Registered Yoga Instructor in 2009 and launched Prasada to bring mind-body practices to companies. 

The first half of her professional life she was an architect and exhibit designer and approaches the body as a set of miraculous systems linked together with the poetic thread of the breath. She loves sharing yoga, mindfulness and positive psychology with program participants.

Ms. Dommert is a licensed Architect (RA), has a Master of Fine Arts in Museum Exhibition Planning and Design, is a Registered Yoga Teacher, Corporate Yoga Specialist (CYS) and holds a Certificate in Positive Psychology in addition to extensive Mindfulness teaching.
