 'Canyon Country'

Workshop for Teachers

Gain experience using local outdoor resources and scenic sites for teaching as we explore the spectacular canyon country of the Uncompahgre Plateau!

We will visit Escalante Canyon sites and learn from natural resource professionals throughout the day, including a tour of the CPW Native Seed Warehouse to find out about the role it plays in wildlife habitat conservation far into the future. As a group we will be applying desert habitat and wildlife-focused lesson plans from 'Project WILD' and 'TEN'.
