Established for alumni, faculty, staff and friends of the university, The University of Massachusetts Club is a Member-supported club that provides an atmosphere for Members to meet with colleagues and friends amid the spirit of academic, business and social exchange that the university has fostered throughout its history.
The Club is found on the 32rd floor of One Beacon Street Street with stunning panoramic views of Boston and the Charles River. The Club first opened its doors in October of 2005 with a commitment to membership, camaraderie, recognition and quality, and has recently moved to this new location in November 2015.

Using Virtual Reality (VR) Technology in Architectural Design
PRESENTER:
David Hamel joined Payette in 2005 as a 3D Visualization Designer. He introduced Virtual Reality / Augmented Reality development as an architectural design tool and leads the company's virtual reality efforts with a vision to continually enhance the capabilities of the core design team.
OVERVIEW:
David will demonstrate how the use of VR can facilitate design discussion and discovery. He will show that VR / AR will play key roles in architectural design as both technologies continue to evolve in the future.
This presentation will provide one CEU or AIA credit. The presentation will begin at 6:30PM, we will host our usual networking session and dinner before the presentation beginning at 5:15PM.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE is Wednesday, March 7, 2018.
Attention to all attendees: Each member or guest is responsible to cancel on or before the deadline if they are unable to attend and have already registered.
