The 2018 Morning Keynote, The Future of Aging Services

 Presenter: Robyn Stone, LeadingAge

 

Robyn I. Stone, Dr.P.H, a noted researcher and internationally recognized authority on long-term care and aging policy, is Sr. VP for Research at LeadingAge. Dr. Stone is a fellow of the Gerontological Society of America and the National Academy of Social Insurance. 

This presentation will provide an overview of the key factors that will drive the demand for aging services over the next two decades, the major challenges facing policymakers, providers and consumers, and ways in which all the stakeholders may address these challenges and take advantage of opportunities to help older adults to age successfully in the community in New Jersey and across the country.

The Luncheon Keynote: Let's Talk About It- Speaking to Older Adults About Sexual Health

Alison Thomas-Cottingham, Ph.D., Rider University

 Alison Thomas-Cottingham, is a clinical psychologist with a specialty in community/health psychology. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Psychology at Rider University and a Principal Investigator at Sabre88.

This presentation will address how to effectively communicate with your older clients about sensitive topics such as sexual health. It will also touch upon how to minimize apprehension in older adults about their changing bodies.
