Strategies to Help a Child with ADHD or LD Improve Performance in School Work and Homework 

This training will provide an overview of skills that students with ADHD and Learning Disabilities (LD) often struggle with such as: organization, focus, time management, and task completion; skills known as executive function (EF) skills.  Participants will learn the role that EF skills plays in class work and homework performance and strategies to support the learner with EF challenges.  Common accommodations and the importance of teaching/learning EF skills will be explored. Parents will be provided with checklists, sample forms, and other useful tools and resources.
