Daily Schedule
Friday, August 31st: Arrive early to settle into your room and attend a brief orientation session at 6 pm at the Sangha House. Khen Rinpoche will begin promptly at 7pm in Shrine room.
Saturday - Monday ~ Daily Schedule: 9am - noon, 2pm - 5pm, 7pm - 9pm
Tuesday, September 4th: 9am - noon & 2pm - 5pm. Students who have attended all five days will be tested for changes at the end of the retreat.
*If you are unable to attend the entire retreat, you may join for the weekend (Friday - Sunday) for a reduced fee. However, you will not be tested for changes the final day.
Retreat Fee
This retreat is residential only. Sliding scale fee structure: $300 - $350 (entire retreat), $150 - $200 (Friday - Sunday only) Please make a payment in accord with your means. Additionally, there will be texts for purchase. If you already have the Cascade of Blessings and Namchak Ngondro, please bring them with you.
Accommodations
The retreat will be held in the Shrine room at the Garden of One Thousand Buddhas. The sangha house will be open for those who wish to sleep indoors. Camping is also available. Please register early to help us with planning.
Camping
Bring your own tent and gear to sleep outside under the stars. Temperatures may drastically vary this time of year. Keep an eye on the forecast and be prepared for all types of weather as well as smoke from wildfires. Camper trailers and RV’s are also welcome.
Food
A cook will prepare vegetarian meals for lunch and dinner. Breakfast is self serve. We will provide foods such as nut butters, jelly, cereal, muesli, milk, yogurt (fat-free, regular), fruit, bread, oatmeal, and eggs.
Air and Ground Transportation
We are 30 minutes from the Missoula airport. There is a section on the registration form for you to list whether you need a shuttle from the airport and your flight details. Depending on how many people are flying in for this retreat, you may have to wait at the airport to ride with a group. Shuttle fee is $25 each way.

Karma Yoga
Karma Yoga (work service) is time offered to support the needs of the retreat and is an intrinsic part of spiritual practice. All retreatants are expected to participate in approximately one hour of karma yoga daily. We greatly appreciate your willingness to help in this way. You will have the same job every day and it is up to you to trade jobs with people if you prefer.

All participants must register online in advance. Please make your payment in advance to help with planning and accommodations. To pay for the retreat, you may either click on the Paypal link on the registration form or mail a check to Ewam.
