Grades summer camps at Camellia Waldorf School are for children ages 7-11. Offering a variety of quality activities, and special events led by dedicated and talented staff — the goal of the program is to create an atmosphere of lively, yet relaxed, summer fun.  The majority of the summer staff is comprised of a combination of Waldorf School alumni, current aftercare staff, and current Waldorf School teachers.

Our camps model the daily rhythm of Waldorf elementary education with a sustained morning period of focused activity, followed by an “out breath” of relaxed free play and fun in the summer sun. We conclude our day with one or more shorter periods of activity and project work related to the session’s theme. Each camp’s thematic content will be brought during the morning portion of the day.

Morning and Extended Care Option
During morning care the campers will enjoy the freshness of the early morning weather with open play outdoors, and extended care campers will enjoy an afternoon of relaxed, open-ended play with opportunities for water play.

Grades Camp Hours
Camp hours are Monday through Friday, from 9 am – 1 pm, with a Morning care option from 8 am to 9 am and an Extended Care option until 6:00 pm.

No camp on July 4th.
