Our Guest Speaker

Harry Hagen is the current Santa Barbara County Treasurer-Tax Collector-Public Administrator. He is responsible for managing Treasurer’s Investment Pool for local schools, general County government, and special districts. His other duties include managing the collection of property taxes, Public Administrator estates, Public Guardian conservatorships, Veterans’ Services programs, the County’s debt program and the County’s deferred compensation plan.

Harry holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from UCSB and is a 26 year California Certified Public Accountant. He also holds the prestigious designations of Certified Public Finance Officer, Certified Fixed Income Practitioner, and Advanced Certified Public Funds Investment Manager.

Harry was elected to his first four-year term June 2010.
