How To Triage Like A Rockstar

Join us as we cover the basic principles of triage, including how to approach an animal, red flag signals, and how to ask effective client questions. We’ll also focus on triage time management, keeping track of patients in the ER (from pre-registration to admit/discharge), and how to efficiently handle the flow in an emergency setting. We will also discuss considerations for exam room, lobby and parking lot triages.
This lecture features specific triage scenarios including: polytrauma, saddle thrombus, suspected infectious diseases, GDV, head trauma, toxins, and cases that often require specialized knowledge of the technician.
