11 & Under Swimmers

Elizabeth Beisel from Rhode Island, made her first USA National Team when she was only 13 years old.  Now 23, for the last 10 years she has been representing the USA team while competing around the world.  She has been a National Champion at the University of Florida in her favorite events, the 400 IM and 200 Back.   In her first Olympics, Beijing 2008, at only 15 years old, she was 4th in the 400 IM and 5th in the 200 back.  Four years later in London 2012, she did life time bests to get silver in the 400IM in 4:31.27 and won bronze in the 200 back with a 2:06.18.  Elizabeth is known as one of the hardest working swimmers in the world and was elected captain to lead the women’s team to one of their most successful Olympics ever at her 3rd Olympics in Rio 2016.  Her out-going personality matches her aggressiveness in the pool and she loves encouraging the next generation of swimmers to dream big and swim big
