Communicating The Library Message

With Confidence 

The Idaho Commission for Libraries will host a one-day communications training for library staff and trustees.

For participants, the desired outcomes of the training will include:
-ability to create key messages;
-increased knowledge of effective communication techniques; and
-capability of sharing their library story and answering tough questions.

The training is free of charge and lunch will be included. But space is limited to 15 participants, with a maximum of two representatives per library.

Jessica Flynn, Founder & CEO of Red Sky PR & Marketing
The training will be conducted by PR professional Jessica Flynn, who is the CEO and co-founder of Red Sky Communications. Jessica’s background includes journalism, public relations, and strategic counsel for crisis communications, public affairs, and internal communications initiatives and issues. In addition, Jessica is an experienced and effective trainer and leads Red Sky’s training and coaching programs. Jessica not only knows what it takes to create and disseminate an effective message, but she is also adept at teaching others to do it.
