Please join us for a fun evening at Fresno State, surrounded by our vineyards and winery!

 Friends, family, alumni, and members of the grape and wine industry are invited to be a part of this annual celebration that is held outdoors on the Viticulture and Enology lawn at Fresno State, just one night before the Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology's Convocation Ceremony at the Save Mart Center.

 We look forward to celebrating the achievements of our graduates and introducing our graduating class to everyone at this festive occasion.

Once again, we are pleased to announce that the San Joaquin Valley Winemakers Group has chosen to make this dinner event their monthly meeting for May.   As always, we welcome their attendance and support of our program.

So far,  the San Joaquin Valley Winemakers, and Pardini's Catering and Banquets have once again agreed to sponsor  our celebratory dinner!  We invite you to consider becoming a sponsor too!

Even if you are unable to attend this dinner, you too can show your support by making a contribution.   All donations will be recognized during the event.  Please refer to the Sponsorship Opportunities section below and when you register.

Program & Menu

 

Social & Hors d'oeuvres at 5:15 pm on the Viticulture & Enology Lawn and Gazebo area on the Fresno State campus.

Seating for dinner begins at 6:00 pm followed by dinner, recognition of our graduates, certificate students, our outstanding undergraduate achiever, and sponsors, with brief announcements and awards by the Viticulture Club and Enology Society.

  • Chicken Kebabs Marinated and Skewered with Peppers and Onions, Topped with a Garlic Aioli Sauce

Vegetarian or special dietary meals available upon request in advance.

Student produced products from the Viticulture & Enology program, including Fresno State wine and raisins, will also be featured at no charge.  Must be 21 years of age and older to consume alcohol.

$15 - Children's Meal - Chicken Strips & Fries  (10 & under)

$20 - Fresno State Viticulture & Enology Students Only  (currently enrolled)

$35 - General Admission


Donations - Sponsorship Opportunities  

Individuals and/or companies are welcome to help sponsor this event by making a small or large donation, payable to the Fresno State Foundation.  Your gift will help the Department of Viticulture and Enology offset expenses for this event,  lower the price of admission for all, enable us to provide a complimentary meal to all of our 2018 DVE graduates, and offer discounted admission to our viticulture and enology students.   It's easy to give... just click on the "Register Now" tab below for details.

 RSVP by May 4, 2018

Payment due by May 10 at noon.

  • Please register online by May 4.   One individual may also register up to 15 guests.
  • Payment due to the Department of Viticulture & Enology office by May 10 at noon.
  • Accepted forms of payment:  Check (preferred) or cash.
  • Checks for dinner registration payable to San Joaquin Valley Winemakers.
  • Checks for sponsorships payable to Fresno State Foundation. 
  • Mail all checks to the Department of Viticulture & Enology.

Reservations made online will be considered a commitment to pay in full by noon on May 10.    Payments received by this date and time will be included in the final count to the caterer.  

Dinner seating will be tables of 8.  Requests for reserved seating will be accepted by Andrea Magdaleno if received by May 4.
