Koa wood is endemic to Hawaii and is known for its deep rich colors and varied grain pattern. Learn how to make your very own Koa wood pen at the Hickam Wood Shop. Attending this event will get you the certifications to use some of the machines like the Wood Lathe, Band Saw, Drill Press and if there is time the Disc Sander.
