Welcome all levels of painters, seriously, beginners are most welcome! You can totally do this! This month, we will enjoy lessons out of The Art of Creative Watercolor by Danielle Donaldson! It is especially important that students understand they will need to purchase the book in advance. We respect the author's tremendous talent and generosity for sharing their expertise and want to ensure that we support them by buying their books. You will have my guidance and use of supplies to help you work through the lessons, but the work is all given to us by Danielle Donaldson.

Student Supply List:

Book: The Art of Creative Watercolor

Pencils: HB, 2B, 4B & 6B

Pencil Sharpener

Eraser

Watercup

Watercolor Brushes - Round Brushes: 6 and a script/liner/rigger for all of our detail work

Watercolor Paints (pencils not suggested)

Watercolor Palette or Dry Erase Board for mixing soft colors

Heat Tool

Washi Tape or Painters Tape (blue) or Artist Tape

Micron Pen 01 Black and/or Brown and/or Sepia

Paint Pens: We're using Posca Pastel Fine Tip Marker set and a white Posca single pen. If you happen to have sharpie paint pens with fine tips, those will work fine too.

Artist Tote Board (for taping your paintings to, which allows you to leave with a wet painting if necessary)

Optional: For week one we will be using a scor board to create our watercolor book. If you happen to have one, bring it. I will bring 1, possibly two to share otherwise.
