NAMI Oklahoma Support Group Facilitator Training
Support Groups are the heart of the programs offered by NAMI Oklahoma. NAMI Support Groups are unique because they follow a structured model to ensure participants in the group have an opportunity to be heard and to get what they need.
NAMI Connection Recovery Support Groups are peer-led groups for adults with mental health conditions. Support Group participants gain insight from hearing the challenges and successes of others.
IT’S TIME to train more facilitators to successfully reach Oklahomans who are affected by mental illness and expand NAMI Support Groups.
NAMI Oklahoma is presenting an intensive two-day training weekend for those interested in becoming a Connection Recovery Support Group Facilitator.
Training will be held:
Saturday, April 28th
and
Sunday, April 29th
