Behavioral Threat Assessment & Threat Management Training

Join us for a one-day course to learn how to evaluate threatening behavior and prevent violence.  Threat assessment is considered the best available tool for preventing active shooter events and other violence in the workplace, at public venues, in schools, on campus, in healthcare settings, and against high-profile individuals and events.  This one-day course trains participants how to assess threats and other disturbing behavior, take steps to reduce risk, and prevent violent incidents. The course includes tabletop exercises that provide participants with multiple opportunities to use best-practice procedures in behavioral threat assessment and threat management.  This course will be hosted by Hess Corporation in Houston and taught by threat assessment experts from SIGMA Threat Management Associates.  The course is appropriate for participants from multiple sectors, including workplaces, government agencies, healthcare settings, law enforcement agencies, executive protection, private security, colleges/universities, K-12 schools, and mental health care.  Participants receive a certificate of completion and course handouts.  Course fee: $350 per person.  Group discounts are available for groups of 3 or more.  Contact us at Training@SigmaTMA.com for more information.

The course instructors are experts from SIGMA Threat Management Associates who have decades of experience investigating, assessing, and intervening directly in threatening situations - and extensive experience teaching others to do the same.
